Battle Hymn of the Republic; Call to the DNC May 27th!!

I am far from patriotic. I know the difference between loving your country, and going apeship over everyone who doesn't see your country through rose-coloured glasses. In Holland we have plenty of tainted history to know that there is no such thing as utopia. But, inspiring leaders who love their country enough to stand up for their values at a time when you can be dismissed as non patriotic always will be remembered more so than all the supposed patriots who beat their chests in praise. Bobby Kennedy was such a man that he and his words have not been forgotten.

In fact, I remember listening to this song as a little girl in the Netherlands, not realizing at the time that the song eulogized Bobby Kennedy at his funeral. The rendition by Andy Williams is beautiful and it was a song worthy of the man who inspired my friend Mash. Mash has spoken of Bobby Kennedy before and what his words meant to him. Of course, when Hillary made the ultimate unacceptable reference to Bobby Kennedy's assassination discussing her fight for the Democratic nomination against Obama, it should have been the turning point for the MSM to stop apologizing for her and catering towards her. This time, there will be a blogger 'revolution' calling the Democratic Party's leadership and Nancy Pelosi to publicly denounce her, and ask her officially, to drop out of the race.

Call the DNC on Tuesday, May 27th, and let Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid know that they need to step up to the plate and denounce Hillary.

Hi Ingrid,

You left such a nice comment on my blog, that I thought I'd come over and see what you're doing over here.
