Impeach Dick Cheney. How timely. I just started reading 'Hubris' by Michael Isikoff and David Corn. It is not just Cheney really. There are so many players guilty directly or a little less directly like 'Pulitzer Prize' winner and collaborator Judy Miller( click and see what her collegues think of her).. there are many actors in this whole disgusting war that ends up costing so many soldier's and Iraqis their lives. Not to mention ignited a holy war that would not have been if it weren't for the fact that the White House orchestrators ignored warnings of the quagmire to come if they ever were to invade Iraq. I haven't even finished reading the book and I am already disgusted!
So if you want to feel as if you're doing SOMEthing.. go sign the petition and make this thing mushroom to the point of not being able to be ignored by the masses who are still lulled to sleep..
(btw.. what's up with blogger? I can't put a title on my post...)
Labels: hubris the book, impeach cheney

Thanks for the Cheney tip and thanks for visiting my blog. I've been absent a bit lately myself but still around...
Hi Ingrid
It’s a sad indictment of politicians everywhere and particularly in the USA, Britain and Australia of how readily the contrived evidence was accepted about weapons of mass destruction. The NY times strikes me as usually a very cautious paper which generally has 2 reporters covering every story with has undue emphasis on statements by others. I agree that journalists would look to collaboration for most stories from a number of sources, or at least verify independently one source and not rely totally on a government press source, which seems particularly unwise.
Best wishes
