Bit hat tip to Mash who called her a 'blithering idiot'. My husband actually felt sorry for her and that this was too humiliating as she did not have any 'handlers' to say 'xnay xnay'.. Weheell.. I don't agree. Just think this woman with an ego the size of Alaska would've been our Vice-President who carelessly divided in an attempt to conquer and win 'politics as usual'..why oh why feel sorry for her? She lacks even the most common traits of respect and sensibility.. hell, this is the story of 'no-sense and nonsensibility'...pah!

The women made a joke out of herself no doubt but this is a little bit of a stretch. It shouldn't be a shocking surprise that the Turkeys we are going to eat during Thanksgiving didn't voluntarily jumped to our plates. She is a hunter and she wasn't effected by the slaughtering of her future meal, big deal.
I think that the joke is more on those who shockingly discover that the Turkey they eats was not produced in a factory, but in fact slaughtered, than on Palin.
Rogel! Long time no see..( I cannot post on your site hopefully that has changed as I do appreciate the different p.o.v.'s.. as here)
I am not shocked about the method.. in fact, I've seen this set up at a farm where they slaughter chickens and it's quite a good one at that. Kinda yucky to think about though but hey, I do realize that any meat we eat would not end up in our kitchen if I had anything to do with it..
The point of this vid I think is that as a politician, it's just one of those 'don'ts'.. it's one of those things you don't want to be seen in front of. It just looks tacky. Plus not everyone can stomach seeing an animal being killed. Why do you think politicians like their baby photo ops?? (as long as they don't cry or spit up [g])
anyhow..that was just my 'pov'..
I'll have to mosy over and see if I can post on your site rogel, I clear ended up bypassing the site out of habit but that was not a good one that will need to be rectified!!
