Europeans long for peace..hope for Obama..

The Telegraph conducted a research during the week of May 23-29th. I wonder how it would look now..

Barack Obama beats John McCain in European vote: US election 2008

"Senator Barack Obama emerged as Europe's favourite candidate for America’s presidency today when a poll conducted for Telegraph.co.uk gave him 52 per cent support across five of the world’s richest nations, including Britain.

John McCain, the presumed Republican nominee, received only 15 per cent of the vote in unprecedented survey covering Britain, France, Germany, Italy and Russia."

Check out the poll research.

Too bad the Europeans can't have a vote this year. But seriously, I think we can do this without the Europeans - unless of course, they have immigrated here and taken citizenship.

Everything we do affects the rest of the world, so of course they'd have an opinion. And the Bush administration has trashed all the good will we had after 9/11 and thumbed its nose at our allies. No wonder Europe would prefer Obama to Bush III.
