hey ingrid- i am not close to any of the venues- and i tend to be anti social anyway :) i think it is a great idea- and i think a few on the right are a bit threatened these days- because the rhetoric against the speakers of global warming have escalated. shoot the messenger i guess- and then you don't have a message. tough luck- the genie is already out of the bottle! :)

Hi Ingrid. I have sent Michael cookies before. Home-made. I put them in those Glad plastic boxes you can get in the grocery store and put a layer of bubble wrap between each layer of cookies. Then I filled it all the way. so nothing moved when I shook it. I send him beef jerkey. Thats spicey right? or spicey chips. Or crackers. I know some of them are in places where there is nothing but bland food and they appreciate spicey seasonings. It can't be perishable stuff. But sometimes we grab those little packets of ketchup and soy sauce and taco sauce from fast food places. (I send the kids in.) I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help.
