The Osterley Times: Conservative newspaper endorses a Democrat for president for the first time since 1936.

Kel, one of my favourite brit bloggers somehow seems to know where to 'find them'..hallelujah let's hope more conservatives (and yes Kathleen, real ones that take a stand and say no to the neocons, not 'con-ser-va-ti-sm..) wake up.. wake up already dangit!

The Osterley Times: Conservative newspaper endorses a Democrat for president for the first time since 1936.

  1. I just hope the Osterly Times has it right. I'm very concerned about just how much worse things could get with a McCain presidency.

  2. That is excellent! There are all kinds of firsts this year on both sides. With Obama gaining in the electoral College I want this to be the first election not stolen since Bush!

  3. Great read...nice to see the conservatives coming over to a place of reason. Although this economy must be straining their advertising budgets of their sponsors.

  5. The only thing I'm really worried about this election year is the proper functioning of the voting machines. I think it belongs to Obama as long as fraud doesn't throw it the other way.

Here's an oddity about papers, the Crawford newspaper has endorsed Obama and last time endorsed Kerry. I wonder how a place like Crawford ends up with a liberal-leaning newspaper? :-)

  6. Hi guys, sorry for the absence in commenting..after the staph was pretty well done, I got a cold over the weekend (give me pain anytime, colds are a scourge as far as I'm concerned)..anyhoo..
Susan, I'm with you; I'll be fidgety nervous until the election is over (can the fat lady finally sing??Pulleeze!)
Jim, don't mention stolen elections? As you can tell, Susan and I are 'fidgeting'...can we just put our heads in the sand until someone pokes us and says 'it's ok, you can come out now'...[g]
Maria, conservatives with strained budgets? What a nice thought that is, corporations have still plenty of money though..that'll never change..
E..Palin is not feelin' the love anywhere but with her handlers and masturbating columnists (although if she truly is such a goodie christian she'd perish that thought right away!!)
Blueberry, meet Jim (aka average patriot)..you guys have lots to commisserate re. stolen elections/election fraud etc.. Susan and I are just not available for that subject (it's our tender Canadian hearts eh..too much conflict and potential worry..sheesh..)
As for the Crawford comment; I believe it was Maria who told me (in person, her and me, we're tight you know..although there's always room for YOU!!wink wink nudge nudge) that there is this non profit for vets with ptsd in the house/area/property where Cindy Sheehan used to live? It's been a veritable mecca so if 'Crawford' wouldnt've wanted to go out and check out 'the world', the 'world' has been coming to Crawford for the last however many years..who knows..something must've rubbed off!
