By now there are countless reports, from hospitals, witnesses, armament experts and journalists that strongly suggest that in the present offensive of Israeli forces against Lebanon and Gaza 'new weapons' are being used.
New and strange symptoms are reported amongst the wounded and the dead.
Bodies with dead tissues and no apparent wounds; 'shrunken' corpses; civilians with heavy damage to lower limbs that require amputation, which is nevertheless followed by unstoppable necrosis and death; descriptions of extensive internal wounds with no trace of shrapnel, corpses blackened but not burnt, and others heavily wounded that did not bleed.
Many of these descriptions suggest the possibility that the new weapons used include 'direct energy' weapons, and chemical and/or biological agents, in a sort of macabre experiment of future warfare, where there is no respect for anything: International rules (from the Geneva Convention to the treaties on biological and chemical weapons), refugees, hospitals and the Red Cross, not to mention the people, their future, their children, the environment, which is poisoned through dissemination of Depleted Uranium and toxic substances released after oil and chemical depots are bombed.
Right now, the Lebanese and Palestinian people have many urgent and impellent problems, yet many people believe that these episodes cannot and must not pass ignored. In fact several appeals have been launched to scientists and experts with a view to investigating the issue.

ReplyDeleteThe REAL story of Israel
ReplyDeletehttp://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5262829351983787579&hl=en
Jeremiah, I am sorry, I just can't help myself, just as a frog croaks, this 'liberal' has to speak up, I think soon we might all need bunkers!
ReplyDeleteRobster, I wish they weren't, but I am glad that a third party neutral is looking into this. The more is lef unsaid, the more hate and anger will grow and grow in the face of world ignorance and apparent non caring. The way to fight Hezbollah is not by 'fighting' it militarily but to 'fight' it with taking care of the Palestinians, and not undermining their gov't, inspite of what Bush and co wants, and providing restoration for all that damage they've done to Lebanon, at least a great portion of it.. that will go a long way to undermine Hezbollah, something that would be the smarter thing to do I believe, but I am not holding my breath. I am starting to feel that Israel is now in the US's pockets more than the other way around..an unconfirmed feeling I'll admit
CO, I'll have t take a look at that when I have a free moment. I am thinking about what to write today and I am in a contemplative mode..perhaps it'll be another stream of conciousness post, don't know..
take care guys
Ingrid
KT, welcome back. I have been doing more reading than posting on what I have read, and inevitably, what you end up posting is, I'll admit 'tainted' (?) or influenced, whatever you'd like to call it, by all that is still in my head from all the research. Check out more from that site I referred to, not just the political part, but environmental etc. I have read more than just articles on that site and I have found so many common threads between writers who obviously don't know each other, would not have the same 'agenda' if you will, but are coming to the same conclusion, that it is actually unnerving and not particularly pleasant to entertain. I do not hate America (rest assured), but I honestly believe we have some serious bad elements at the helm, and the more you read, research, and think and digest, the more you'd almost feel hopeless in believing there will be an end to this. I love the original idea of this country, believe in it's system if it weren't undermined politically. I do believe that there are different degrees of corruption as regular American's' ability to run for office is seriously hampered by both parties! Hence in this country (for lack of compatibility with where I grew up with), I am a political Independent. It does not mean that I would automatically dismiss anyone who's a Democrat or a Republican either.
ReplyDeleteAs for the underlying theme that you noted, I must be very frustrated at the state of affairs, and I am sorry if I make you feel upset, or negative or what have you. Seriously. Consider it a vent. I will always moderate at some point because I cannot be on the far left/right or anything for any lenght of time. My deep feelings are to find a common ground between people who disagree. I cannot for a minute believe that Republicans are all for this neoconservative agenda if they'd truly understand what they're being sold. I have also noticed, that in my 'travels' around the net, reading and researching, that all critique towards Bush but most of all his 'handlers' if it were, that they are not always from anyone to the left either! I also feel very mixed at times when I feel angry or frustrated, because I have a strong sense (again, with all the info in my head which is hard to 'spit out'), that ordinary people in Israel and Lebanon alike, are being manipulated and plain used for a greater agenda which does not value human life. Israel has been greatly damaged, more than with just casualties. I attribute that to Bush. KT..I would like to refer you to Pen and Sword for a more intelligent (I can't claim to be such an analyst or such a great writer at this point, I'll admit) analysis which I think has a very clear treatment of the current politics. Check out http://www.zenhuber.blogspot.com , written by a retired Navy Commander, Jeff Huber.
Thanks for still stopping by and giving me your feedback. I probably should step back and 'see with your eyes' how my postings come across, if not just to see it from your perspective. Thanks for your honesty,
Ingrid
KT, no need for you to apologize ever. I have noticed that you are a gentleman and are not into the mudslinging and bad mouthing and I did not take offense at your comment. At all. In fact, it is always good to know how you might come across even if there was no intention to present oneself a particular way. In fact, it made me think and when someone or something stops me in my track and steer me towards re-evaluation, the better. It doesn't bother me. People do tend to frequent sites that echo their own views for the most part, but I believe that generally, people seek to communicate and this is what you and I are doing. Especially from you, I appreciate your comments and instead of taking for granted that most of the readers understand what I talk about, I'll try to do away with those presumptions as much as I can. You inspired a post (see the latest) and again, you can stop me in my tracks anytime. It is like a interjection in a conversation where someone asks for clarification..interject away KT.
ReplyDeleteI will only suggest that, once I put up my blogroll and links , that you peruse through to perhaps see where I am coming from. There is only so much time and space for me to write a post..
Ingrid
I also hope that this isn't true. I didn't see any pictures on that article.
ReplyDeleteI just know that everything related to arms development is top secret in Israel.
Does anybody have links to more evidence of this kind?
Yohay, I am a bit provocative with this posting, I'll admit. I want people to think about it and hence, from time to time, I'll post something along those lines. It's something to consider. If anything, I think the military industrial people have been chomping at the bit to get their latest 'toys' out to be used and practiced with in the 'real world'..hence I am putting this article out there as a 'you never know'. In this current conflict, I put the blame on the too many loss of life also on the Bush leadership. Thanks for your kind words. I know I don't particularly like all Dutch people (who does like all of their 'own'), but the Dutch tend to be opinionated where ever you find them, which is good (in my mind) but sometimes a little 'bad' (in my mind too). There is always a flip side to something positive, c'est la vie!
ReplyDeleteKT, that is why you are welcome addition to my commenters, the stimulation to think only comes when your thoughts are questioned or tested..no problem! Your opinions are always worthwhile listening to..
Ingrid
oops yohay, I was replying to your comment on the other post..as regards to the top secret weaponry, I would expect so. I will see if I can find more links for that. Part of the problem is that a lot of very negative, anti Israeli sites might have something but the value of info coming from certain sites get diminished in my opinion, so let me see what I can find that is reasonable, and not over the top,
ReplyDelete(well, as if this article wasn't but I do not see any rhetoric here, only criticism)
Ingrid
