I lost a few 'buttons' on the side that I somehow need to recover..sigh..
Betmo..it is good to see you here as I know you've been super busy and there's only so many blogs that one can visit..you're doing a great job on the Sirens!
Dk..I had a great response for you and pardon me..it seems to have gotten lost too (or did I post it somewhere else?? shee).. anyway..songs can be soothing can't they? Even when they make us cry and then, it's out of our system, a bit or a lot.
E..ha..if you cannot understand the lyrics, then the songwriter (the one writing the music anyway) is absolutely a give away talent if she/he can evoke the same feeling with the music without the benefit of the words..this song is one of those examples. I'm good though now..thx..it's one of those times I need to dig in and listen and 'get it out of my system'..
DK..hang in there too..

hugs to all,

IngridIngridhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15543677729320023767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22346965.post-44100307799233939392008-08-08T17:42:00.000-05:002008-08-08T17:42:00.000-05:00First the song..oh my...it made me cry..I have not...First the song..oh my...it made me cry..I have not a clue what he was singing...But it just got to me ( for all I know he was singing about coleslaw and cokes for the BBQ...) but the song is song so sweetly...he has kind of a Maurice Chevalier quality...or Burl Ives ( Burl ives sang the music for "Rudolf" again something that makes me cry...)

I am so sorry you are having a hard time...that something or someone is upsetting you...you have such a gentle spirit and good soul...and a lovely spirit...but I have a feeling confrontation is not something that you do well or often ( that since you are a peace keeper and maker that that is not your way?)......

I am so sorry that your heart is heavy...if there is anything I can do or you need I am a click away...please email me...

many hugs...

namaste...enigma4everhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06589997090173140019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22346965.post-91111266021769471742008-08-08T00:52:00.000-05:002008-08-08T00:52:00.000-05:00When I have something bottled up inside, I usually...When I have something bottled up inside, I usually I talk it over with my pets first. They are very understanding.

If there is something particularly maddening, I try writing out my feelings. Most of the time, by the time I've written them down they have lost the power to anger me.

You ask good questions about expressing emotions. Our culture does not really encourage overly passionate expression, which is our loss. I've seen other cultures (italian and irish come to mind) that simply have a good row & get it over with & everybody is back to being friends the next day.

ps, thank you for the kind words about Juna. They meant a lot to me. It's kind of a rough patch, but I'm working my way through it.D.K.
